Barrats shoe shop at the bottom of lands lane, on Commercial Street, just below WH Smith. The building is called 'Record Chambers', dates from about 1900 and has been a Barrat's for years.I've often wondered why the roof is so elaborately glazed. Any ideas?http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?reso ... ULLBarrats shoe shophttp://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?resourceIde ... 2368411One the lefthttp://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?resourceIde ...
