Ho ho ho! :-DThe main display windows are (first floor) curved glass and quite large. Street level has been beggared about a bit but the old pic suggest something elaborate. In its time these must have been quite impressive, expensive and designed for showing something off.

It was a photographic studio in Victorian times. Lots of windows facing north for the best light.In those days film was very slow and long exposures were needed.
