I drove past the former shop this evening and conversion to a dwelling is almost ready for it to be let, so another piece of local flavour disappears.
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.

It's advertised as a 4 bedroomed house yet the Energy Performance Certificate reads, Flat 1. 2 Back De Lacy Mount. The size of the rooms shown in the pics are only small and one of the rooms like part of the attic. "I'm out"

In the side wall of the former shop a new door and window have been constructed, so this is possibly a staircase to the upper flat ??
