Despite how it looks, I didn’t make it myself, but could probably have done a better job if I had. At least I would have made it with a working buttonhole! Crushed a lot of grass has that jacket....

My apology’s, I did find out the name of the rose, it’s a “Madame Plantier” and the guy says that he stocks it because of its scent though he thought it would be a bit big to wear as a buttonhole.And no, I didn’t take any offence about the jacket. I think it would need more than pressing [a whip and a chair, probably] to get it back into shape.

It didn't look too bad and I'd had it in the fridge overnight beforhand. I've kept it on my desk as its scent is still very strong although its started going brown. It'll have to go in the bin soon and the shot glass may have to go with it, I'm not sure how I'll get the gunk off!
