Dan Leno in Leeds and the World Clog Dancing Title 1880

Just watched a program about clog dancing on BBC4 where it referred to Dan Leno. Checked the web and found that he won the "World" clog dancing championship in Leeds in 1880 at the Princess Theatre (originally called the New Theatre) - later called the Hippodrome.Anyone know where this was?Interestingly both Chaplin and Stan Laurel were clog dancers during their music hall timehttp://www.arthurlloyd.co.uk/Leeds/NewTheatreLeeds.htm

ISTR there used to be an old Dan Leno poster on the wall of The Wrens, presumably advertising a long distant performance at The Grand. Anyone else remember it?
