It must pay pretty well.http://www.aerial-leeds.co.uk/http://ww ... pg.htmlYou can commission your own photos doing too. Funnily enough, both those companies are based on the wrong side of the hill, with Manchester phone numbers...I'm sure that there used to be a showroom in the Shaftesbury Building on Harehills Lane for a company that specialised in aerial photos. A look at Google Streetview shows it's no longer there... http://goo.gl/maps/Tn75N

The photo was taken at the cemetery end of the runway on 22nd May 2007. After landing it parked over near the hangers. That's very much like it!How this thread has wandered - love SL! :-DThanks.

I declined as I suspected it to be a scam. I think he was a little bit miffed when I asked him if he had checked to see if the guttering was clear.... Yes Kango you are correct! It was my family that ran Skyviews and General on Meanwood Road. A chap who used to work there called Andy Wright (you may remember the name) took on the Skyviews name and is still doing the business himself.

Hi simonash and welcome to the forum.I don't remember Andy Wright (my time was late 70's early 80's)I do remember Ralph Sally and Paul who are obviously related to Yourself with much fondness, as they ran the business with a "family feel" towards it's employees. I certainly enjoyed my time there.Could You perhaps shed light on the rumour amongst the workforce at that time that Ralph landed one of the aircraft on what is now the M621 in Hunslet prior to it being opened in the early 70's? It's something that always intrigued me but never thought to ask!RegardsTabbycat (was Kango)
