My other half bought a pair of plus-fours to go with his wellies. He knows where the wellies are [because they regularly get tripped over in the hallway] but the whereabouts of the plus-fours is a mystery - to him, anyway. Great minds clearly think alike Johnny39 as I was wondering the same thing. Mind you I did also wonder if it is Jogon in posh (or even everyday) cycling gear! Sorry Jogon, only fun.

I was watching an excellent old British film on TV the other week (The Admirable Crichton). One of the characters was played by Gerald Harper and I couldn't remember the TV series that he used to be in. Well I can now. Thanks.

Trafficators on cars. My first car - an Austin A30 - bought from a back street garage somewhere up Tong Road - had trafficators - they worked on a solenoid. Unfortunately the one on the driver's side would only work if you gave the door pillar a bash on the inside.
