A 1930s photo of City Square in the YEP.

In the 'Memory Lane' section on page 13 of the Yorkshire Evening Post (YEP) today (Feb 12 2013) there is a very interesting photo of City Square that is stated to be a "View from King's Street" in the 1930s. Lots of old cars moving or parked in a two ways flow in front of what used to be the Post Office. Also two trams and some long demolished buildings.I do though think the view cannot have been taken from King's Street (presumably King Street) but from Quebec Street (possibly from the top of the Majestic) unless some street names have been altered since the photo was taken.
