Those locations look as though they are on South Parkway going towards what are known locally as the 'black' shops and then the dual carriageway of Oak Tree Drive.Sorry I don't know the origin of the nomenclature - I looked that up - 'black' shops. That's just what they are called.

My house in Garforth was used in an episode called "A Case of Mistaken Identity" in about 2001.It had quite a dramatic house fire and watching it back now it looks very very realistic and somewhat frightening.

That's just what they are called. The first part of the chase is on South Parkway and they spin the car round in the junction with Kentmere Avenue. They then head up the hill, in totally the opposite direction to Oak Tree Drive (aka Fairway Hill) where the next shot is set. Such are the wonders of the editing suite. The shops are known locally as 'Blacks shops' as the sub post office used to be owned by A&E Black. On a related but off topic note, the area also features in the film Tyrannosaur which is on Film4 this week.
