Hi ArmleyLass47.The Black Prince is still there. I never knew though that he had gone! The pigeons clearly like him as he is in need of a good clean.

SL is not the only thing back.The statues on the Majestic canopy have returned! Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me but I spotted them while visiting over Christmas.Yay!

I think they are repro's, but they make a real difference.

If they are repros then my original question stands - what happened to the originals? If anyone [leo?] is going in town would they take a photo so we can compare with the ones I linked to early in the thread?

It's amazing the difference it makes to that little corner of City Square - it should be great when the whole building is up and running and the businesses trading from there.

I took this photo today (January 2 2013) showing a general view from City Square at what used to be the Majestic Cinema (though that was very many years back now). I wonder how long the new statues will stay nice and clean looking?
