I don't remember wearing clogs as a child but plastic or jelly bean sandals were all the rage! Shorts held up with a snake belt and bry nylon shirt, mostly recut or altered because they were hand me downs. We sometimes had new clothes bought for wit Sunday. The smartest we dressed was in cub uniforms and the most money we ever had was in bob a job week.

Indeed book,all well remembered.Woe betide you if you allowed your snake belt to slip out of your hands whilst applying ! Nylon grundies too which had to be air dried lest they crumpled into a hard mass of black plastic ! You were never more proud than when wearing the dark green cub shirt with woggle and neck tie.Used to hate the pac-a-macs though....made you sweat like 'owt.Oh happy days.
