About 7 miles from the Town Hall. A lot less trees back then. Undated image, now streetviewable. ps If you know it, be cryptic and keep it going for the little 'uns.

If my guess it correct, I got it by looking intently and thinking about a measure of syllables.

Unless I'm totally wrong about a location (that would not be the first time!) this photo (taken July 13 2011) shows a nice bench mark on the bridge at the cottage end. It is marked there in an 1893 1:2,500 map in the Old-Maps UK website but as it does not look to be noticeably weathered I wonder if it has been re-cut at some stage?"We have no time to stand and stare. A poor life this if full of care".

Think the local Anti Aircraft Battery "took the roof off a house" whilst following a low flying Dornier...oops.

I just don't get the last two presumably cryptic clues Jogon! I cannot work out what connection they have with this What & Where. I'm clearly missing something (probably brain cells!). Maybe it is not a SL thread about SL that I thought it was (cryptic eh!).
