Now this may be up for some debate as to whether it is a Leeds sign...I love the history of Meanwood ridge, a real hub of industry for hundreds of years. Which is why i have never really questioned this sign painted on the garden gate of a house on Meanwood Road who's long back garden backs onto the ridge. But when i have searched for 'M.E Gluckstein Leather Merchant' can't find anything. On closer examination do you think it says 'of' a town beginning with 'C' maybe? and some one from Leeds has bought the door?
