Unfortunately tyke bhoy, buy to let is now a thing of the past. In Leeds the thing is to "buy to sit". Buy a city centre apartment off plan, don't bother getting any tenants, and hope to make a profit on the capital appreciation after a year or two.Still, when did a bubble not burst?

You're right Phill....the big fella next to the railway line would have been monumental. The Angel was built from "Corten" steel,a special weathering steel which although looking as it may eventually disintegrate is actually very anti corrosive in open air.The same type of steel features on the East Leeds outer ring flyover in Hunslet.(Bridge/support construction).
