Help ! Have you seen the new Aldi advert featuring the older guy sat on a bench who says "think I'll go clubbing" whilst drinking an energy drink.Where is he from ? Definitely sounds like a Leeds accent...."south o'the river" ?What do you think or know.....How to find out ???Lots of friends asking !

Its a novel and very appealing advert in my view - I like it - and it doesn't half hit home with we old gimmers who are still dreaming.
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.

As far as adverts go, I think all the Aldi ads so far have been "fun"... I like the woman with the booze. Made me howl first time I saw it. Their ads don't lie or make stupid remarks which as far as I'm concerned gives them cred.
