And now I think of it they were here a week or two ago, there were about 10 of them walking about with clip boards and that kind of thing. I thought it was a council and tenants walkabout at the time. They finished around 2p.m, and it went quiet for a bit, then two removal vans came around 4 ish and they started taking furniture in the flat and fancy blinds, canvas sheets e.t.c, so I'm not sure if they were putting anyone's furniture back, or fitting it out for more filming tomorrow, we'll have to see.

DCI Banks seems a tad wooden for me though I enjoy scene spotting.Emmerdale were filming on Town St Horsforth this week, in a little chinese done out to feature as a burger bar.The helpful bloke said it'd be about 6 weeks to showing, not a show I can bring myself to watch (although the 'Father Jack' actor was on apparently, missed that).

Feck! Drink! It did not seem that long back to me but it is already 14 years since the death of Dermot Morgan (only aged 45) who played Father Ted Crilly (not Father Jack). It's still hilarous to watch repeats of Father Ted.

I saw them filming the previous series of DCI Banks last year in Otley market place. In your pics, they're even using the same limo (silver Merc) to transport Stephen Tomkinson from his digs to the location. Nice work if you can get it - he spends half the year filming in South Africa, and the other half filming in Leeds! The lights outside are to compensate for the lights they use while filming inside. They're so bright that even a summer's day outside will look like twilight, so they add extra sunlight! The yellow filters correct the cast of the light.PS I find the casting of Stephen Tomkinson as Banks a little puzzling, because in the books, Alan Banks is a short, wiry, non-tie wearing, borderline alcoholic southerner! I was hoping they'd make a change like they did with Rebus - John Hannah (completely wrong) turned into Ken Stott (exactly right.)
