Oulton/Woodlesford seemed to be full of quarries. There are a few on the map I have posted plus there were more to the north

Was there a line running into the old Whitbread brewery site in woodlesford? I seem to remember that it was near the station.
Is it me or has Leeds gone mad

I am no map/railway expert, but there seems to be a curviture that runs into the brewery yard and rejoins the main line.I am sure one of more enlightened members will give a better explanation. EDIT: Reading this it did have its own sidingshttp://woodlesfordstation.co.uk/BreweryHistory.aspx
