    The Horse tramway depot at Kirkstall is still in existance, this is located on the left about 100m north of the traffic lights at the Kirkstall road, Kirkstall Lane junction on the A65. The buildings are still there, this I believe was the stables. There used to be tramtrack inset in the yard outside the buildings, but I do not know if this is still there as I have not visited for quite a while.John

Oxfam in Headingley (the bookshop) near the skyrack has a copy of Golden Years of British Trams £2.99. Inside and on the rear sleeve is a lovely shot looking down Kirkgate with the Railbridge and Parish Church in background "May 1951 Chamberlain Car 131".
