Oh, well that's amazing to hear and understandable I suppose when explained. Nevertheless they still look atrocious and ridiculous, so why not make the removeable transfers the shape and colour of a civilised livery with the same result economically I wonder ??Ha!,thats exactly what they would be expecting you to think

With FirstBus there are some deplorable examples running around where the only person who can see out is the driver, and some of the "all over advert" examples can easily be mistaken for removal vans - its advisable to have a Sat Nav on your lap if you want to alight at the intended stop, or wish to see anything while travelling. BLAKEYThe pic I posted is the Skytrain in Bangkok and you see out of the windows very clearly.

She could even decipher the number 47216. She called British Rail and insisted her name be kept secret before revealing the accident in minute detail. Apparently depot managers found her predictions had been taken seriously in police investigations in the past. For some strange reason the loco was mysteriously renumbered to 47299. There has never been an explanation why the loco was renumbered by B.R. Interesting to read the story further here!http://www.angelfire.com/mn2/Oubliette/47299.html

Ah my favourite subject.. trains..The Class 91 023 was renumbered when GNER refurbished the fleet in the Mallard update. The loco was rebuilt and then renumbered 91132 instead of 91123... Look out for it at Leeds City railway station. I saw the Mk4 carriages that could be salvaged from Great Heck. Nasty..The Northern trains are vinyl not paint, just so the graffiti artists are unable to tag them. The car paints will not adhere to the vinyl and wash off with chemical thinners. After BTP have photographed any tags for future prosecutions. It is a bit of a splurge and the old BR Blue and White was neater and cleaner. The funny swirl along the side is to give the illusion of a longer train set, apparently. But as the TOC's want to show their corporate colours, we all have to suffer.

We have gone from - BR to Regional Railways north East toNorthern Spirit to Arriva to Northern/First trans Pennine etcand basically many of the same rubbish sets are still in service. The only people to benefit are the ones doing the coachwork/graphics.

Plus there is the added advantage of making people who know nothing about trains think it's a nice, shiny, newish unit.Until they get on board and see "BREL 1985" above the door.....
