In my diary I noted I saw Leeds United beat Anderlecht 3-0 in European Cup 3rd round 1st leg and that it was "very foggy however and game stopped for a while".

From behind one of the goals we could just about see half way. I think Anderlecht played in purple so they were easier to spot through the fog. I also seem to remember the highlights were on Sportsnight when we got home and my reaction was "so that was what we were watching". TV cameras seem to cut through fog , and darkness for that matter (cricket), much better than human eyes.
