There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.

Thanks Blakey But it was actually by luck I spotted the photo, it's in the main flickr Leeds group, so I couldn't really miss it. But it does answer the question for us nicely about the Lanc being in the area.

http://www.raf.mod.uk/bbmf/displayinfo/jul2011.cfmLooks like it was coming past from Hampsthwaite.I have seen the BBMF over Fairburn a couple of years ago.As the flight is based at Conningsby then i assume that Fairburn would be on its path back to Conningsby.Saw them on Saturday at Southport airshow,as well as the Vulcan.
Don't get me started!!My Flickr photos-http://www.flickr.com/photos/cnosni/Secret Leeds [email protected]

Thanks for visiting my flickr photostream to see the Lancaster. A really lucky shot that. We heard it before we saw it. Not the Turtle Dove that we had gone to Fairburn to see, but just as exciting!!
