I was just taking a look at Google St view and came across a part of Leeds I never knew existed. Right in the middle of Little London, and only a stones throw away from the Merrion Centre I came across a fairly substantial old building. I was quite surprised it was there, as I'd always assumed the whole area had been flattened, and was now nothing more than 1960's housing and tower blocks. I haven't looked on Leodis, or done any research what the building used to be, but I'm just wondering how many other Secret Leedsers have seen the place before? It's tucked away in an area that you wouldn't need to go really, yet I've literally walked yards away from the place without seeing it over the years, and the place is big enough not to miss lol The said building can be seen herehttp://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Leeds+&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Leeds,+West+Yorkshire,+United+Kingdom&t=h&ll=53.806505,-1.544952&spn=0.011455,0.04343&z=15&layer=c&cbll=53.80632,-1.545528&panoid=4E9Qy3-p--S-hyMKA9onYw&cbp=12,78.1,,0,-2.93Not sure if it was a school, or factory perhaps. I'll see what I can find out about it.
