Leeds named as Enterprise Zone

Let's hope so - although the Enterprise Zone is being awarded to the "Leeds City Region" which encompasses all of West Yorkshire and a good chunk of North Yorkshire too. As yet there is no announcement where the actual zone will be within that area. I'd hope it would be the Lower Aire Valley in Leeds which has much of the basic infrastructure and is crying out for investment.
