There are a cracking series of possibly ninteenth century images of the Woodman Inn, Selby Road in Halton here:http://www.flickr.com/photos/36844288@N ... 102102/and a latter image from perhaps the 1930's http://www.flickr.com/photos/36844288@N00/3421277715/I haven't seen these beforeI have vague memories of the Woodman as it was just down Selby Road from my primary school (H & TN PS) ......... not that I went in there in my lunch break!
