Oh yeah. I forgot about those printed T shirts. They smelt nice when they were hot, and first pressed. They were on sale everywhere in the late 70's. It's a shame to see the Merrion market the way it is today. There used to be loads of good knick knac shops in there. and a decent vinyl record vendor.Spent loads on jap import singles and albums in there. Slightly off topic, but talking of decent vinyl record vendors, what happened to Kennedy's that used to be along the side of Kirkgate market? Ah Kennedy's, what a great little shop that was. I spent many an happy hour in there looking through the racks of lp's. I think I got most of my Black Sabbath collection from them ! They also had a small kiosk just around the corner from the toilet block near the bus station that sold mainly singles as I recall. I think they went bust some time in the 80's when cd's took over as I don't think they made the transition from vinyl.Regards.
