Same wishes.Mind you I shall settle for happy, as I long ago stopped expecting to be prosperous! Those in charge of the Football Pools, Ernie Bonds and National Lottery know my numbers and manage to make sure that they don't come up. Well OK those nice folk running the Lottery have very occasionally let me win a £10 prize, I think to make sure that I continue to give them much more!

Happy New Year and a Merry Easter to one and all! [I’ve already had my first Cream Egg in lieu of having missed Christmas, due to the flu]. Jim, your letter will be in the post on Tuesday.

All the best for good fortune and contentment throughout 2011 to all Secret Leeds friends - long may the interesting, nostalgic and informative debates and research prosper - and a bit of harmless banter too now and again. The site is a real tonic.
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.
