Does anyone know what the building at 1 Cross Belgrave Street was originally? It has a foundation stone from 1934. So far I know in reverse order- snooker club, Berlins, Ike's, The Flamenco? Any tips on where I find out? All help/suggestions appreciated.

Here's a link to an image on Leodis which says it's the rear of the Belgrave Central Church, situated between Merrion Place and Belgrave Street.http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?reso ... 013_167518

Where No. 1 now stands in 1921 was a Sunday School, by 1933 it is shown as a Lecture Hall, both maps have the Congl Church next door to them.
Is this the end of the story ...or the beginning of a legend?

Did there used to be a pram shop there? Or was that next door?
