We ran a good thread over the last year or 2 about old barbers.Does any other area have the influx of new barbers shos recentlyaround Harehills/Burmantofts ?.They seem to cater more for the recent arrivals from Europe and Africa and God knows where.

Is this the end of the story ...or the beginning of a legend?

Talking of barbers ....I used to go to a wonderful guy on Oldfield Lane, Wortley. The air was thick with smoke in the 60's. The walls covered old photos of Leeds Utd from the 30's and 40's. And he had the best collection of old Beano's and Dandy's I'd ever seen. Short back and sides was the order of the day back then.

Morley seems to have a lot of barbers - I can only assume hair grows faster there
