The lights switch on this year is a week later than normal. Usually the first Thursday after bonfire night and at least once in my memory it has been before bonfire night this year it is the 18th http://www.leedsliveitloveit.com/visito ... -switch-on I suppose the 11th would be a little inappropriate but it must have been the 11th before
