Doing the exact same day to day jobs as HH did. I bet there's no takers. One thing I've often wondered, is how the film crew felt, capturing the true daily life of this formidable lady, standing watching the tremendous sruggle which some of the things we saw so clearly were. But that is what Hannah was used to wasn't it? Would certainly have tugged at my heart strings a little harder than I think I could ignore

They say you can tell what type of person they are by there eyes .In Hannahs case you can see she would not hurt a fly what a lovely lady. I have never met her but i will bet if she cant say a good word about someone then she will not say anything.

Hannah is a remarkable and humble lady. One particular heartbreaking scene I recall from a TV programme about her was when she was breaking ice off a reservoir to get at water to collect in a bucket and then her trudge back to her then farm home.
A rainbow is a ribbon that Nature puts on when she washes her hair.

Hi Sticks : )Its really nice to see a recent photo of Hannah Hauxwell! I watched the programmes on ITV about Hannah's life in the Dales,I think the whole country must have been mesmerised watching this lovely lady struggle and endure such a hard life.I was very happy and relieved that she had been discovered and thought after all that she deserved the very best things in life.I hope you dont mind me asking you this sticks and please dont think I am rude but why is Hannah seemingly still making do ? The chair she is sat on has some sponge tied with string and shes wearing half a tank top. . .is this her choice ?If so thats fair enough but for me this lovely lady should have the comfiest recliner chair and the fluffiest fleeciest comfy clothes and the fire on full blast after all those hard winters. I feel a bit sorry that shes living like she used to. Does she still do interviews for the telly these days? Best Wishes to you both.

It is nice that part of the area where she used to live was officially given the name 'Hannah's Meadow' in honour of Hannah.

I'd say we ought to get a bus party together, but I suspect tht might prove a bit too much for the lady - we can be bad enough with each otherSeriously though, that is the sort of response and attention the respect this good lady desreves and commands.
