The Grove, Alwoodley

I am wondering if any Secret Leeds folk, know of The Grove, Alwoodley?I found my Gt uncle Eric burial place after months of trying to trace his whearabouts and found it in the Unviersty library where the records are for the General cemetary. upon there it says residence as The Grove, Alwoodley. was wondering if anyone could shed alight on the place, and if it still exists?many thanks in advance Weenie

Pretty sure it still exists. I don't know what they mean by General Cemetary though.

Based on the high number of burial plots there I wonder if General Cemetery may refer to Lawnswood Cemetery, as it is not that far from The Grove (Adel Chuch is nearer but is a very small burial ground compared to such as Lawnswood). Edit added about 22:58. My suggestiion of Lawnswood is wrong as the General Cemetery is Woodhouse Cemetery according to weenie's post below.

Sorry the General Cemetary is the Leeds General cemetary (woodhouse cemetary) now known as St Georges Field. whish is behind the Henry Price buildings part of University.
