Leeds on TV with DCI Banks

Charver - originally "charva". Interesting. A word I recall from my younger years, when it was used to and about me, ( I hope ) in its sense of "outsider" by a certain group. It apparently had another meaning. Check it out on Wiktionary, to account for the hope I mention!
