Anyone remember the specialist performance Mini garage next to the river on Neville Street? Must have been demolished in the early 90's. Where KPMG's office is now.Used to go there when into all things mini, twin carb, flared arches, twin pipes etc.Was it Mini Mania or something? There was a wholesale bicycle shop next door too.The builting is pictures on the far right of the attached Leodis image about 3/5 of the way up, set back from the road.http://www.leodis.net display.aspx?resourceIdentifier=2009812_169341&DISPLAY=FULL
Ravioli, ravioli followed by ravioli. I happen to like ravioli.

The one on Neville street was APN Mini Centre. I'm sure one of the guys that owned it was called Neville, coincidentally. There was a younger chap called Paul. He had a mate that lived at the Armley end of Bluehill Lane who owned a lovely red Cooper S. I bought many bits from them in the early 80's. I wish they were still there now. It's a bind having to go to Harrogate for stuff! There was also Leeds Mini Spares on Westfield Road at Burley too. I seem to remember there was another small place on Dolly Lane somewhere near the Herbie Hospital too.

There's a small garage on Crow Lane in Otley with loads of Mini bodies/parts/etc in the yard. Don't know if he buys and sells, or whether he does them up for his own amusement, though (there's no sign.)He also had a BMW/Isetta bubble-car recently.

You can buy Mini body parts - sills, floor pans, wings etc from Mount Panels, Back Lane, Bramley - behind Greggs Bakery.

I used to love that place, all fibreglass front ends and big exhausts ont he wall. There were always some cool Minis in there. I used to have a smart Clubman, the plan was to do a Rothmans paint job but I never had any money to do it, settled on capped arches, black roof, bonnet straps, spots and "sports" exhaust.

Shame all the Mini parts places have all but gone now. It's typical now I need some bits for mine!!Secondhand bits are hard to come by. Scrapyards laugh when you ask!Might have to have a trundle over to Otley..... That sounds promising.
