The Rodley - we certainly had a flair for design in those days!There must be a prize for the ugliest car ever made - wonder if top gear would be interested! I remember designing cars like this - when I was 4.Ref:http://www.secretleeds.com/forum/Messag ... ighLight=1

On page 14 of today's YEP (in the Yorkshire Diary section) there is a photo of what is believed to be the only remaining Job Day car in the World. The car was made in 1914. The photo was taken last year at a car museum in Tasmania.

Found a pic on the web - what's remarkable is that the car in Launceston Car Museum in Tasmania was made in 1914 is according to the letter, the only one of 300 made thought to have survived. The words Day Leeds appear in gold on the grill.

Finally - found the name of the car manufacturer based at the top of Dixon Lane in Wortley in the early 1900's Stanhope (then Bramham) MotorsMust thank the Wortley History Society who had photos of the car on their open day on the 11th Sep
