Does anyone think the special World cup fever we usually have is missing? Yeah sure a few flags are flying, but there doesn't seem to be any prematch build up, excitement, the atmosphere in all the games has been lousy. Not one team have played decent, or had a good game. It's 'Fail cup' 2010 so far! Try telling that to the fans of S.Korea,N.Korea,Serbia,Switzerland,Ivory Coast and Algeria. This World cup is wide open and the underdogs are making a mockery of the so called Experts predictions. These teams don't have the quality of the big guns but one thing they do have above all else is Pride & Passion certainly more so than our Highly paid prima donnas. I take your point but Ivory Coast? They all play in the tops ides in Europe and are as highly paid as out planks.

Only just been able to watch the highlights. The disallowed goal MIGHT have made a difference in terms of the English teams approach to the rest of the game.goals 3 and 4 for German were a joke. The referee was in a better postion faster than 8 other English players to defend the 4th goal.

The England squad went to visit a South African orphanage this morning. "It's so good to put a smile on the faces of people with no hope, constantly struggling and facing the impossible" said Jamal Umboto, aged six.

Last week we went to Polokwane to watch Argentina and out side the ground we bought football shirts for England with ABE printed on the front in small print underneath was Anyone But England. It seemed to work.
