Pubs on Harehills Lane

Basicly,in previous times population equalled pubs.Acres of back to back houses = large population = lots of shops=lots of pubs etc.Areas we have thought to have been there for ages are in fact quite recent in Leeds history.Passed the Brown Hare the other day,looked like it was boarded up,certainly most main road windows were.Probably the fallout of Christmas/New Year 'excitement'

They must have come into some money at the Brown Hare.Fully glazed and ! still intact after about 4 weeks.Someone must be making some money somewhere
