England flags

Ahead of next months World Cup, I can't help but notice the increasing number of cars on the roads already flying England flags.Call me an old fool, but it stirs a sense of patriotism deep inside me to see these wonderful Chinese made flags fluttering proudly on so many French, German and Italian made cars. It fair brings a lump to your throat, doesn't it?

It’s a shame we cannot be as patriotic for St Georges Day as we are for overpaid wallys jollying it up in warmer climes.

ah yes, for someone who never got within 1000 miles of England and probably didn't even know of its existence. Agreed over the overpaid wally's

We can't win!Regards. ps.He wouldn't have know about England as England was not established until hundreds of years after his death !

Grumpytramp - isn't Scotland the 'Big Country' not the 'Big County' as stated on your location ????
