This was the the first pub I went to in Leeds in 1976. I worked in Leeds from 1976 til 1979 as a young graduate. Sad to see a place I have such fond memories of disappear. You can just picture a thread in Secret Leeds in the year 2110 discussing the pub with people posting Ordnance Survey maps etc. silmilar to this Forum now.

Planning permission was applied for a few weeks ago for - guess what - a car park.Work started this week,fenced off and building what looks like a low wall.Has put some of the free parkers noses out of joint I think.
