Hi Sidney. There's a guide to posting pictures on this site under "Technical Support," if you want to try again.I have to say I've never heard of a Wizzer motorbike! I'm intrigued.

I've found a picture of a Whizzer on Google. They were made in the 1940s in the USA, so I don't know what the Leeds connection is?

I don't know much about motorcycles, but I do know that the Panther motorcycle was built in Cleckheaton - not exactly Leeds but near enoughhttp://www.pantherownersclub.com/PantherPage/p-conts.html

Admittedly not a motorbike, but the unhappy "Scootercar" was made in, I believe, Hunslet in the 1960s, and one main agent was Frank Leach in Headingley Lane (premises now Alba Tyres). The Scootercar sooned earned the unfortunate nickname of "the bobbing sentry box" as a result of its appearance and riding characteristics.
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.

There used to be one of these orange triangular efforts whizzing round Armley about ten years ago.
