Tallest building in Leeds?

Bridgewater Place is technically the tallest building in Leeds at 110m (360ft), but it's location at one of the lowest points in the city means that on the skyline it is dwarfed by buildings that are technically significantly shorter.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ta ... in_LeedsK2 (the former Dudley House) for example is 'only' 65m (213ft) tall, but due to the geography of the city centre appears taller as it is on higher ground.So my question is, when adjusted for the underlying topography, which is technically the tallest building in Leeds?I think it could be one of the tower blocks on the outer edges of the city - Sherburn Court at Swarcliffe could be a contender under these rules.

I'd say it was definitely this place Ravey.I can't recall it's name so i'll post the Google street view.http://snipurl.com/veoekIt towers over Bridgewater place from the North Leeds view of the city panorama. It's the highest point of the city centre too.I might have a shot saved up somewhere of the city skyline from North Leeds. I'll put it on here if i have.

I was really pleased with this one. I used a little point and shoot camera looking through binoculars on full zoom.You can see the base of Emley moor transmitter which was 15.93 miles away from where i took the shot lol Eagle eyes might also be able to spot the Royd Moor windturbines. There an incredible 21.41 miles away. I believe the hills in the distance will be the Peak district just above Buxton.I think it was taken in 2005 before Bridgewater place was finished.

The building with the roof at the highest point above sea level is the Sky Plaza student housing. It's only a 7 metres shorter than Bridgewater Place and it sits on a much higher point.It's the only building in Leeds tall enough to need a flashing red light on top.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sky_Plaza

I thought BP had a light on the top, is this out of affectation rather than need, or have I imagined it?
