I would love to start discussion remembering the old Coffee Bars. I remember one opposite the Grand Theatre where you went downstairs and they had the requisite Fishing Buoys handing from the ceiling.I also remember there was one on Dewsbury Road where they served Espresso Coffee rather than the Cappucinos of today. They also had a Juke Box and my favourite song was Blue Bayou by Roy Orbison. This would be late sixties. A bit later there was a Coffee bar upstairs in the Merrion Centre where I used to drink Russian Tea with a slice of lemon in a clear glass.
