The buildings next to the Crown and Fleece appear to be still there.

Don't know if it's been covered byt Thrywolf of the monastery is also spelt as Thrydwulf. However apart from futher lack of clarity over the location of the monastery (Kirkgate, Halton, Barwick) there's not much more to add.

Just come across this account in Burt's Illustrated History of Leeds, don't think it's been put up before, and probably nothing but you never know.

I think that the surprising thing is the shortness of the prison terms.If you were part of this assault on police officers nowadays you'd be looking at quite a lot more, 4 years or so.
