Wondered if this thread refferred to the nightmare that was Apperly bridge over the weekend, 30 min to do what takes 5 normally, why?.Because a hole had been dug just down from Micklefield lane, bollards and temp lights round it, then left with no-one working on it.God only knows what it was like in the morning rush hour

Watch out this week for the night closures of Harrogate Road and the Ring Road. Seems the 36 will be rat running around this down Primley Park Avenue, Primley Park Crescent, Nursery Lane, King Lane and Stonegate Road, then normal route to Leeds. Shame it's dark, getting a picture of the 36 on not so familiar territory would be interesting. Almost as much fun as being diverted via Collingham and Wetherby Road. You will not whereas a certain Leeds operator just gives up, at least H&D do try to get you home!
I like work. I can watch it for hours.

Signs suggest the A6120 will be closed between 1900 - 0700 for two weeks between Wetherby Road and Lawnswood.

I did notice a few exploratory diggings a week go, reminiscent of Transco.

I did notice a few exploratory diggings a week go, reminiscent of Transco. I'll have a hunt round and see if I can find anything else. There is nothing currently showing or listed for the next 14 days on www.leedstravel.info although that comes as no great surprise. I need to go to Greengates next month on an evening and this is going to be a major pain in the behind. It's not like there is an obvious alternative route for those from outside the area, other than to go down Wetherby Road into Leeds and back out up the A660 (I'd nip round Roundhay Park past Canal Gardens, across to Meanwood and then pick up the A660, but I'd wager not many Ring Road users would know that way and it wouldn't be suitable for HGVs).

It can't all be resurfacing because it would take more than two weeks to do the whole stretch
