Thanks for the info Phil - I contacted customer services at the company (Asos), but they weren't particularly helpful - said they couldn't trace what had happened and suggested I just place another order, but admitted that the return seemed to have been made very quickly. I'm not out of pocket, just a bit dischuffed, as I'd wanted the coat for a particular occasion - I've never had delivery problems before, and I don't live at a hard-to-find address, so I'm not sure exactly what went wrong this time.

Don't know what's happening with my post recently, it's been arriving late afternoon/teatime for several weeks now?

Yes guys, there's no second delivery anymore (although you now get your first delivery later than the second delivery used to come)They cut jobs big time, they then put the extra houses and work on the remaining Postmen, they made there sorting tasks, and delivery walks mammoth, that's why you get the post so late in the day.Royal Mail claims as long as they have delivered your items before midnight, then they have achieved a 'next day' delivery on first class lol That's true!    In London certain delivery walks don't get done for 2 or 3 days. Sickness levels, low morale and people quitting the job leaves no one to do them.So at least your lucky to get your mail Lily and Dalehelms (although it is nearly night time) hehe

Before they started to make these cost cutting changes, Royal Mail was in such a mess (apparently) the guy 'Alan Leighton' who they brought in to weave his magic, had to increase his working days from one day a week, to two.I do forget how many millions it was they paid him annually to do this, but i do remember it was an obscene amount!
