I can't have seen the bridge in place, as it was removed in May 1941, the railway closing in 1915.Everything you need to know about the bridge, quarry and railway is on that thread, Muddy Land Rover. Was there a Pool station, or are you thinking of the Station At Arthington which is still there

Wagons full of stone travelling down the slope to the dressing facility at Pool Station were partly counter-balanced by empty wagons travelling back up, as the hauser or rope was on a continuous loop. At the top of the slope, a brake drum controlled the speed and progression. The movement was "gravity controlled", but the brake drum controlled the effects of gravity!
