Don't get too carried away abouy AnkergranTo me he is suspect in the air from corners/free kicksWe haven't had a decent goalie for a number of years now.we haven't been as formidable either for many years sincewe seem to have lost the Scottish connections we used to have.Leeds have always had the better sides when we have had a Scottish/Irish midfield.

Snodgrass is Scottish so there's still a bit of a connection there - perhaps thats why we're doing a bit better!

You're right there drapesyI was thinking more like Bremner,Strachan, Mcallister,Giles. All Four of them could change a game in minutes, they were Masters at passing and reading a game, they all seemed to have that little bit extra that would turn the game in our favour.

Ankergren scares the [edited for content] out of me at times, he's so unpredictable and risky. However, he played a blinder on Sat evening. For me Higgs will still be the no one, once back from injury. Also, someone mentioned 30,000+ as an intimidating crowd. Not anymore it aint. Plus, Elland Rd holds 40,000, give or take a few. Alas, the majority make up the fickle observers, who only pay to see Leeds ply the "big boys"!!!!! It really is a shame that those so called Leeds fans don't go each week as they did when we were in the prem. Still, it should be a good game and as Grayson said, we have nowt to lose!!!!!!

Had a hell of a job getting out of Hull and back to Leeds after the game, if I remember correctly. Think we had to go through Beverley, although it could have been Driffield, whatever it was after one in the morning when we got back to Croggy. Great days or nights!
