There used to be a beautiful example of Victorian Gothic on either Park Row or East Parade - I can't remember which - I can't even remember whose bank it was - my have been Williams Deacons - but maybe not - whatever, it was knocked down in the sixtiies anyone else on here remember it?

I've been thinking about this, and I think the bank was a branch of Martins. The style was very reminiscent of St Pancras Station.Martins was taken over by Nat West, I believe the logo was a Martin.
