Good stuff - Phill has some excellent pics of the tram museum and has posted a link here previously.

I am sure its been mentioned previously but there is a great photogallery on the Crich Tramway website. Just put Leeds in the search box and there are 1653 hits.http://www.tramway.co.uk/smx/photos/res ... =LeedsEven if trams are not your thing the street scenes are very evocative . A few years ago when I was ill I spent a good few hours going through this photo library and identifying locations where none was given and correcting a few photo captions where they had got it wrong. I sent a list of comments and corrections to the curator of the museum - not sure whether they ever used them though.
It used to be said that the statue of the Black Prince had been placed in City Square , near the station, pointing South to tell all the southerners who've just got off the train to b****r off back down south!

They were filming for this around the back of Hyde Terace near the uni buildings, they had washing up to block out the modern stuff.
Near a tree by a river, there's a hole in the ground.
