Dead easy!! This drinking fountain was built in 1865. It originally stood in what is now the junction of Kirkstall Road and Bridge Road in Leeds. It has now been moved to a nearby spot previously occupied by Kirkstall Police Station. The inscription reads "Drink and Be Grateful".
My flickr pictures are herehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn/Because lunacy was the influence for an album. It goes without saying that an album about lunacy will breed a lunatics obsessions with an album - The Dark side of the moon!

Sad to say that, in recent years, I've seen it used for a far less savoury aspect of the drinking process by those who should know better in such a prominent and busy location - at least its not a War Memorial !!
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.
