They must be up market ladies or rich pimps. What a shame, seems these upper floors will end up becoming like the upper storeys of Hills furnishings on Kirkgate, old neglected and dangerous. I'm pretty sure that a few hundred quid a month for a flat in one of the half empty blocks is not beyond your above average brass or drug dealer.I suppose the natural result would be these floors become derelict, and it seems so pointless, Well Reggie,i will bow to your superior knowledge of the value of the vice markets

On the bus to work this morning my eye was drawn (as usual) to the upper floors on the Corn Exchange end of Duncan Street (from above the Duncan pub to the corner). I would LOVE to see what's up there, looks like nobody's been up there for eons...probably just a load of rats reading the 1981 phone directory, but there could be loads of interesting things. Anybody ever been up there or know when they were last in use?

I'd love to have a look on the Corn Exchange roof itself

But it has a pretty amazing roof don't forget Chris Ariel shot herehttp://www.webbaviation.co.uk/leeds/leeds.corn.ex.c30.jpgI've never seen photos from up there before. P.S that's a nice detailed shot of the skull building 'stables' too.
